Sage Chili Garlic Breadcrumbs

Crunchy, savory, and full of bold flavor, these homemade breadcrumbs are a simple way to elevate everything from roasted vegetables to pasta dishes. Made with our Sage Infused Olive Oil, they add a rustic, herbaceous finish to your favorite recipes.

Ingredients

  • 1 baguette (preferably stale)
  • ¼ cup Sage Infused Olive Oil
  • ¼ cup melted butter
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon chili flakes
  • Salt to taste

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 300°F.
    Cut the baguette into small pieces and spread evenly on a baking sheet. Toast in the oven for 10–15 minutes, or until completely crunchy.

  • Cool and blend.
    Remove the bread from the oven and allow to cool. Increase oven temperature to 325°F. Transfer the toasted bread to a food processor and pulse until you reach your desired crumb texture.

  • Mix the flavors.
    In a large bowl, combine the breadcrumbs with Sage Olive Oil, melted butter, minced garlic, chili flakes, and salt. Toss until evenly coated.

  • Bake to finish.
    Spread the seasoned breadcrumb mixture onto a parchment-lined baking sheet. Bake at 325°F for 5–10 minutes, or until golden brown and fragrant.
