Crafted in méthode traditionnelle and aged on the lees for over a year, it’s an elegant expression of California sparkling wine.

Sourced from Tracy Hills, our Montepulciano is bold yet balanced, with plush black fruit, warm spice, and a touch of earth. Crafted in the Bordeaux style, it offers savory depth and a velvety texture, with bright acidity making it especially food-friendly. With just a few barrels produced, this rare Italian varietal is a standout addition to our Growers Series collection.

The mother grape to such revered wines as Barolo and Barbaresco, Nebbiolo finds its own Californian personality here in the vineyards of Round Pond. Filled with flavors of cherry, spice, caramel, and dried fruit, this varietal was Patriarch Bob MacDonnell’s favorite varietal, and the main reason we grow this very unique grape.
