Our Right Bank Blend is alluring and captivating, much like its compatriots in Bordeaux. Showcasing the small selection of Cabernet Franc planted on the estate together with Merlot and Cabernet Sauvignon, this small-lot blend has resulted in a supple, smooth, rich wine with silky, lengthy tannins.

 

Winemaker Notes

Inspired by the famous right bank blends of Bordeaux, our Right Bank Blend comes specifically from a small gravel seam running throughout the eastern portion of Round Pond Estate. Three uniquely tended sub-blocks provide the components for the blend including Cabernet Sauvignon from Block 1b and 2A and Cabernet Franc from Block 2b2.
