USA TODAY Names Round Pond one of Napa Valley's Best Tasting Experiences!
We are proud to be in company of these wineries, Round Pond was named one of six "Napa Valley's Best Tasting Experiences" by USA Today.
ROUND POND – [ESCAPE TO TUSCANY]
“Round Pond’s expansive terrace overlooking the vineyards takes its cues from Tuscany, but the wines and house pressed olive oils are pure California. This is a winery visit you can customize to your needs: tour the olive mill, idle with some wine on the terrace or wander the estate organic garden. Our favorite is the Estate Tasting, a one-hour seated tasting (on the terrace) for four wines paired with fresh-from-the-garden inspired appetizers.”

We are so excited that Wine Spectator chose Round Pond as one of the spots to stop on your Napa Valley day trip:
June 15th, 2011 - Day Trip: Rutherford is for Wine Lover's: "Though a relative newcomer to the Rutherford Cabernet landscape, Round Pond has made some exciting wines, at appealing price tags. An avenue of tall palm trees announces the entrance to this winery, setting the tone for a stylish and memorable experience. The most basic of the tastings gives you a chance to sample three wines paired with appetizers in one of Napa's most modern and chic tasting rooms. An outdoor terrace with sweeping views overlooking the valley is so relaxing a spot that you won't want to leave. For a longer stay, check out their brunch, lunch or dinner tasting options or the estate tour. Round Pond also operates an olive mill across the street, offering tours as well as tastings of their olive oils, red wine vinegars and citrus syrups." - Wine Spectator.

The SF Examiner says our Winery "Has to Be Experienced"
We are excited that the SF Examiner states "Round Pond Winery Has To Be Experienced".
"Round Pond: Located on the Napa Valley floor, on Rutherford Road in Rutherford, family owned Round Pond Estate has emerged as the place to visit. Though a magnificent Palm Tree escort guides you in, you’ll be pleased to learn that Round Pond Estate is not an ostentatious mega-winery. Far from it. Round Pond lives in the open air offering small select wine tastings - they only create a modest amount of Sauvignon Blanc and Cabernet - and a breezy, easy going encounter. When you’re sitting on theirs large patio, in the midst of estate’s 357 planted acres of vineyards, you’ll think that their can be no greater place on earth. This delightful, serene yet striking winery has to be experienced."

We were happy to host special contributor, Gabe Sasso, of the Daily Meal to Round Pond Estate in February 2015.
"Round Pond Estate has chosen to allow guests to enjoy the bounty of their property and all that encompasses in a number of ways. Depending on how much time you want to commit and what parts of Round Pond you’d like to see you can spend as little as half an hour there, or as much as a day. For my recent visit I cut it right down the middle and spent more than 2 hours there. My guest and I took part in Round Pond’s Il Pranzo Lunch ($120)."
