Round Pond’s Italian Varietal Olive Oil is crafted from a medley of olive trees grown on the estate, hand-harvested at the ideal stage of ripeness, and crushed individually by varietal. To capture the fresh and lively, green Tuscan flavors of the olives, we employ artisan-milling techniques, and blend in small lots to ensure freshness and purity. Assertive and robust, our Italian Olive Oil is the perfect finishing oil for salads and vegetables.
2009 Tasting Notes: With a nice balance of spice and rich butter, this oil combines notes of green tomatoes and cut grass with a tropical aroma of fresh cut hibiscus.
