2012 Reserve Cabernet Sauvignon

Taking a magnifying glass to the Estate, the Reserve Cabernet comes from the most expressive blocks in the vineyard and from the best lots in the winery. Sourced from our Rutherford Estate vineyards, this prolific Cabernet has a dark and dense fruit profile. As the wine evolves it spruces the senses with a nose of wild berry, plum, leather, and smoked meat. Lush and velvety, a dark fruit entry layers the palate with black cherry, blueberry, and dusty cocoa nibs. Finishing with suedy tannins, balanced with soft earthy notes of mushroom, tobacco, and coffee bean.

2013 Rutherford Cabernet Sauvignon

An elegant bouquet of cassis, violet, and sage tickle the nose. Aromas of dark chocolate, wet stone, and evergreen follow. The intense entry is layered with blackberry, anise, and some higher toned red fruits. This wine builds through the mid-palate with more earth driven aromatics of cardamom, tobacco, and dark chocolate. The palate is beautifully balanced with great acidity and soft supple tannins carry the broad aromas and flavors to a long dark finish. Expressive now, this wine will certainly gain in complexity and depth with several years of age.

2015 Rutherford Sauvignon Blanc

This wine is focused on purity of fruit; it is a flip book of the varietal as it ripens on the Estate. We capture different snapshots of the grape’s character by making three picking passes during harvest. This provides the wine with multiple layers of fruit starting with zesty citrus, moving to stone fruits, progressing to melons, and finishing with a hint of exotic tropical fruits. Each of these aromatic profiles represents the different ripeness levels at which the clusters were picked.
